Release notes

What’s new in Flow

Every version, what it added and what each feature does. The newest is Flow 1.6.2, released October 28, 2026.

  1. 1.6.2Latest
    WebAndroidLinuxWindows

Flow 1.6.2: a List view for workspace projects, custom fields in settings and fixes

    New

    List view
A new List tab on every workspace project shows all its issues in one list. Group them by status, assignee, sprint, priority or type, fold the groups you don’t need, and filter by status, type, assignee, priority, sprint or your choice fields.
    Add issues the full way
My issues and List now have the same add panel as your other projects: type naturally, and pick the project, date, priority, labels, type or a template.
    Custom fields in project settings
Add, rename, change and delete custom fields right in project settings → Custom fields. The Fields button on the project screen is gone.
    Settings for owners and admins
Only a workspace project’s owners and admins can open and change its settings. Everyone can still see who’s in it and star it.

    Fixed

    • Deleting a custom field did nothing: the confirmation opened behind the fields window
    • An issue opened from another page could show deleted custom fields or miss new ones
    • A project could get two custom fields with the same name
  2. 1.6.1
    WebAndroidLinuxWindows

Flow 1.6.1: every view on the project page, sprints in settings and all issues in one table

    New

    Everything on the project page
A workspace project’s page now has all its tabs: My issues, Board, Backlog, Gantt, Calendar, Epics, Issues, Reports and Activity. Opening the board keeps you in that project, showing only its issues.
    My issues, in place
My issues lists what’s assigned to you in this project right there, with completed ones tucked away below. Add an issue for yourself without leaving the tab.
    Search and filter a project
Search a project’s board by key or summary, and filter it by type or assignee.
    Sprints in project settings
Project settings has a Sprints section: see every sprint as New, Running or Completed, create one, start or complete it, and move an issue to another sprint or the Backlog with its ⇄ button.
Custom fields and issue types in settings
Custom fields and issue types have their own sections in project settings again, listing what each project has.
    All issues
A new page in the menu with every task and issue from all your projects in one table. Search, filter by project, status, type and assignee, sort by any column, and click a row to open it.
All projects in Gantt, Calendar and Priority matrix
From the menu, Gantt chart, Calendar and Priority matrix now show your own projects as well as your workspace projects.

    Fixed

    • Opening a workspace project’s board jumped to the main Boards page; it now stays in the project
    • My issues on a board opened the project page instead of listing your issues
    • The section names in project settings ran into the divider, and Archive & delete sat at the bottom of the list
  3. 1.6.0
    WebAndroidLinuxWindows

Flow 1.6: Gantt chart and Calendar for every workspace project, simpler settings and sprints your way

    New

    Gantt chart, rebuilt
Each issue is a bar from its start to its due date, in its project’s colour, with Work, Status and Assignee beside it and your sprints across the top. Epics open to show their issues, with a progress bar. Drag a bar to move it, drag its ends to change the dates, or drag across an empty row to plan an issue. Zoom by weeks, months or quarters.
    Calendar
A month or a week with sprints and epics as banners and each issue on its due date. Drag issues between days, or drag them in from Unscheduled work to give them a date.
    On every workspace project
Gantt and Calendar are tabs on each workspace project’s board, showing just that project. In the menu they show all your workspace projects together. The day-column Timeline is gone.
    Sprints your way
Give each sprint its own name, dates, details and status (New, Running or Completed). Flow no longer picks the dates for you, and the default sprint length setting is gone.
    Simpler project settings
Settings now has sections on the left: Details, Features, Issue types & custom fields, People & access, and Archive & delete. It keeps its size as you switch between them.
    Custom fields in one click
Add fields like Release version, Extra info, Environment or Customer from the board’s Fields button or project settings. They show in each issue’s details and as columns in Issues.
    Any colour
Pick from 18 colours, or any colour at all with the colour picker or a hex code, for projects and issue types.

    Fixed

    • In the dark theme, the chosen option in a group of buttons was hard to see; it now shows in your accent colour
    • Project settings changed size and jumped when switching between tabs
  4. 1.5.1
    WebAndroidLinuxWindows

Flow 1.5.1: the Android app opens again after updating

    Fixed

    • On Android, Flow 1.5.0 closed itself right after opening when it was updated from an earlier version. Update to 1.5.1 and it opens normally, with everything where you left it.
  5. 1.5.0
    WebAndroidLinuxWindows

Flow 1.5: block notes, a timeline and a Gantt chart

    New

    Write notes in blocks
Notes are now written in place: headings, to-do lists, bullets, numbers, quotes, code, dividers and pictures, formatted as you type. Press “/” for the block menu, select text for the format bar, or type Markdown like “# ” and “[] ”. On Android each line is a block, with a bar above the keyboard to change it. Prefer the plain box? Turn it off in Settings.
    Timeline
A new page with a column for each day. Drag a task to another day, add one straight into a day, double-click to rename it, or use a card’s ⋯ menu to move it to tomorrow or next week. Overdue tasks and tasks without a date wait at the side.
    Gantt chart
Tasks as bars from their start to their due date, grouped by project. Drag a bar to move it, drag its ends to change the dates, or drag across an empty row to plan a task. Hover a bar for its details. On Android, swipe a bar or drag its ends.
    Start dates
Give a task a start date in its details, next to the due date. Timeline and Gantt draw it across every day it takes, and a repeating task keeps the same length each time.
    New, running and completed sprints
The Backlog now switches between new, running and completed sprints. When a sprint’s end date passes it completes by itself, and anything unfinished goes back to the Backlog, every team project’s default sprint.
Know when there’s a new version
Every Flow app now tells you when a new version comes out, with what’s new in it. Turn it off in Settings → Notifications → New versions.
    Your choice
Timeline and Gantt can be hidden from the menu, and block notes and new-version alerts turned off, in Settings.

    Fixed

    • On Android, the refresh spinner appeared every time a setting changed; it now shows only when you pull to refresh
    • A favourite project now also shows in its own space (My projects or its workspace), not only under Favourites
    • On Android, a long project key no longer wraps inside the project’s badge
  6. 1.4.0
    WebAndroidLinuxWindows

Flow 1.4: sprints with details, project icons and logos, and calm sounds on your phone

    New

    Plan a sprint your way
Create sprint now opens a form: name the sprint, pick its start and end (or tap 1 to 8 weeks), write a one-line goal and the sprint details, the features and work it includes. Edit any of it later from the sprint’s ⋯ menu or by clicking its name in the Backlog. The details show under each sprint and on the board.
Every project setting in one place
Project settings (the project menu, the board’s Settings button, or click the project’s icon) now hold everything: icon and logo, name, colour, description, issue key, favourite, sprints and their length, issue types and fields, members and access, and archive or delete. Personal projects get the parts that apply to them.
    Project icons and logos
Give a project one of 50+ icons, or upload your own logo. It shows in the sidebar, on Projects, on the board and at the top of the project.
    Icons for your lists
When you create a list, name it and pick an icon right away. Change it any time from the list’s menu (Icon) or by tapping its icon.
    Calm sounds on your phone
Finishing a task, a daily goal, your day or a focus session now plays a soft, warm chime made for each moment: mallet tones, a singing bowl for focus, wind chimes for a dream. Sounds play only in the Android app (and the web app on a phone); the Windows and Linux apps stay quiet. Turn them off or set the volume in Settings → Sounds & reminders.
    Simpler planning: milestones removed
Milestones are gone from the apps, so team projects plan with sprints. Nothing was deleted on the server.

    Fixed

    • What’s new opened scrolled to the very bottom (0.1.0) instead of the version you have
    • A team project’s new name, colour or icon could take a sync to show on its board
  7. 1.3.0
    WebAndroidLinuxWindows

Flow 1.3: milestones, and each team project set up the way it works

    New

    Milestones
Group a project’s issues towards a goal with a date, like “Public beta” or “v2.0 launch”. Open the board’s Milestones tab to create one and see how close each is, what’s done and what’s overdue. Close it when it ships. Pick an issue’s milestone in its details, or filter the board by milestone.
Turn sprints and milestones on or off
Project owners and admins can choose what each workspace project uses: open the board’s Settings (or the project menu → Project settings) and switch sprints or milestones on or off. A kanban team can hide sprints entirely. Turning something off only hides it: nothing is deleted.
    Your sprint length
Set how long sprints usually last (1 to 4 weeks) in project settings, and new sprints start with that length.
    Committed vs done
Each sprint now remembers what it held when it started. The velocity chart in Reports shows what every sprint committed to next to what it finished, and how much of the plan you complete on average.
    Sprint in the issue details
Move an issue into a sprint, or back to the backlog, right from its details on the web, Windows and Linux.
    Members and access on Android
On Android, the people who can open a project and their roles are now in the project menu (Members & access) and in project settings, not only behind the board’s Share button.

    Fixed

    • On Android, there was no way to manage a project’s members and access from the project itself
  8. 1.2.1
    WebAndroidLinuxWindows

Flow 1.2.1: everyone’s access in one place, and sounds you can hear

    New

People and access in one place
Workspace owners and admins now see everyone and every project in one table under Members & settings. Pick what each person can do on each project (Admin, Can edit, Can view or No access), make a project private with one click, or set someone’s access to all projects at once. On Android, tap a person in the workspace settings.
    “No access” for one person
Keep a project open to the workspace but hide it from one person: choose No access for them, from the table or the project’s Share panel.

    Fixed

    • Sound effects were silent in the Linux app from the Snap Store and could stay muted in the Linux app and Safari; they now play in every app, louder and right when you tick a task
    • On Android, sound effects follow the media volume instead of the often-silent system sounds volume
    • Ticking a sub-task in the task details had no sound
  9. 1.2.0
    WebAndroidLinuxWindows

Flow 1.2: share each project with the right people, sounds for your wins and an end-of-day check-in

    New

    Choose who sees each project
Open a workspace project’s board and tap Share. Keep it open to everyone in the workspace, or make it “Only people added” and pick who can see it. Workspace owners and admins always keep access. Private projects show a lock in the sidebar.
    A role for each project
Give someone a different role on one project: Admin (edits and manages who has access), Member (adds and edits issues) or Viewer (can only look). A project admin can manage that project without being a workspace admin.
    Invite guests to one project
Invite a client or freelancer from a project’s Share panel. They join as a guest and see only the projects they were added to, nothing else in your workspace.
    Sound effects
A soft chime when you complete a task, a different one for a sub-task, your daily goal, finishing everything for today, a focus session ending and a dream coming true. Set the volume, preview each sound or turn them off in Settings → Sounds & reminders.
    End-of-day reminder
Pick a time (6 pm by default) and, if tasks for today are still open, Flow sends you a notification and an email listing what’s left, so nothing slips. Turn it on in Settings → Sounds & reminders and choose notification, email or both.
    A clearer sync button
The sync button at the top now shows at a glance whether everything is synced, saving, waiting or offline, with the number of changes waiting. Click it to sync now; hover to see when it last synced. On the web, Windows and Linux.

    Fixed

    • A task in one of your own projects couldn’t be moved to a workspace project (or back) from its details: the project list only showed one kind. Every task can now move to any project you can add to, and gets its issue key at once
  10. 1.1.0
    WebAndroidLinuxWindows

Flow 1.1: add to any project from anywhere, work offline with your team, and celebrate your wins

    New

Add tasks and issues to any project
The add field on My day, Plan and every list now reaches workspace projects too. Type @ and pick a project as you write (by name or key, like @FLOW), or choose it from the project chip, grouped by workspace. Issues you add this way are assigned to you.
    #label and @project
Labels now start with # and projects with @, everywhere: the add field, search and saved filters. Your saved filters were switched over for you, so they show the same tasks as before. Typing # suggests your labels.
    Issue types as you type
In a team project, add !bug, !story or !epic to set the issue type, or pick it from the new type chip. “@FLOW !bug Login fails tomorrow p1” files a bug in one line.
    Team issues work offline
Adding, editing, completing and deleting issues in workspace projects now works without a connection on every app, just like your own tasks. Changes are saved on your device at once and sent the moment you are back online, so everything feels instant.
    Celebrate your wins
Completing a task now pops the check with a burst of sparks. Finish everything for today, reach your daily task goal, hit a daily goal or make a dream come true, and confetti fills the screen. Streaks and progress rings animate too. Turned off when your device asks for less motion.
    A logo in your colours
The Flow logo now follows your theme: change the accent colour or switch between light and dark and the logo, and the browser tab icon, change with it.

    Fixed

    • Left open overnight, Flow kept showing yesterday as today (dates, My day, overdue tasks, the greeting) until it was restarted. It now moves on at midnight by itself, also after the computer or phone wakes from sleep, and the home-screen widgets on Android follow
    • Typing the name of a workspace project in the add field created a new personal project with that name instead of adding to the workspace project
  11. 1.0.0
    WebAndroidLinuxWindows

Flow 1.0: invites that just work, for new and existing accounts

    New

    Invites by email
Inviting someone to a workspace now emails them straight away, and Flow tells you it was sent. You still get a link to share yourself, and it opens on flow.invicly.com from every app.
Already on Flow? Join in one tap
When someone invites the email you already use for Flow, a bar appears at the top of the app: Join or Decline, no link needed. The invite page also recognises your account and asks you to sign in instead of creating a new one, with your email filled in.
    Signed in with another account
Opening an invite while signed in with a different email now tells you which account the invite is for and lets you switch to it, instead of failing.

    Fixed

    • Invite links copied in the Windows and Linux apps started with tauri://localhost and opened nowhere; they now point to flow.invicly.com
    • An invite could say it was emailed when the email had actually failed; now the app says so and gives you the link to send yourself
  12. 0.12.0
    WebAndroidLinuxWindows

Plan your day better: a priority matrix, today’s top 3, an evening wrap-up and brain dump

    New

    Priority matrix
A new page that sorts your open tasks into four boxes by how important (priority 1 or 2) and how urgent (overdue, today or tomorrow) they are: Do now, Schedule, Quick wins and Later. One tap moves a task to today or makes it important. Open it from the sidebar or press M. On the web, Windows and Linux.
    Today’s top 3
Pin up to three tasks to the top of My day: the few things that would make today a win. Tick them off and see “2 of 3 done”; the card starts fresh every morning and syncs to all your devices. On the web, Windows and Linux.
    Wrap up your day
From 5 pm, My day shows what you finished today and moves everything still open to tomorrow in one tap (with undo), so tomorrow starts clean. On the web, Windows and Linux.
    Brain dump
Get everything out of your head at once: Brain dump on My day (or in the command palette) takes one task per line, and understands dates, #project, @label and p1-p4 like the add field. Paste a list from your notes and the bullets and checkboxes are dropped. See a preview before adding. On the web, Windows and Linux.
News and maintenance notices in every app
Announcements about new releases or planned downtime now show in the Android, Windows and Linux apps too, not only on the website, and update while Flow is open. During maintenance the app tells you when it will be back and opens again by itself.

    Fixed

    • Changes to which features are available now reach an open app within a minute, without reloading
  13. 0.11.0
    WebAndroidLinuxWindows

Lists for everything you want to tick off, countdowns, and calm music

    New

    Lists
One place for every list you tick off: a bucket list, long-term goals, a watch list, places to visit, a reading list, a study plan, a learning list or your own. Each kind has its own categories (Movie, Series… or City, Beach…), and done means Watched, Visited, Read or Learned. Add notes and a “by when” date to anything. Turn it on in Settings → Notes, dreams, lists & law of attraction.
    Long-term goals
Set goals for the next 1, 3 or 6 months, a year, or 3 to 5 years with one tap, or pick a date. Goals are grouped by how far away they are (within 6 months, within a year, in 1 to 3 years, later), each with the time left.
    Study plans and learning lists
Plan the topics and chapters to cover before an exam date, or the skills, courses and languages you want to learn, and tick them off as you go.
    Countdowns on My day
What’s coming up from your lists and dreams, soonest first: “Japan trip · 31 days”, “Run a half marathon · 6 months”. Tap one to open it. Hide it in Settings if you prefer.
    Calm music while you visualize
Visualize now plays soft music made on your device (nothing to download, works offline): calm pads, ocean waves, rain or singing bowls. Choose it and set the volume in Settings → Law of attraction, and mute it during a session.

    Fixed

    • Flow is faster: its server now runs in Mumbai, next to its database, so syncing and signing in take a fraction of the time
    • Flow was unreachable for a while because its database host put the free database to sleep; Flow now runs on a new database with all your data
    • Hiding Notes or Dreams from the sidebar didn’t save to your account
    • Something added right after creating a list or project, while it was still syncing, could go missing
  14. 0.10.0
    WebAndroidLinuxWindows

Pictures in your notes, a Notes page, a vision board for your dreams, and the law of attraction

    New

    Pictures in task notes
Put pictures right between the lines of a task’s notes: Add picture under the notes, or paste or drop a picture where the cursor is. Tap a picture to see it full size. Pictures sync with the task to all your devices.
    Notes
A Notes page for ideas, plans and lists, with pictures in the text. Pin the ones you use most, search them, archive the rest. Turn it on in Settings → Notes, dreams & law of attraction.
    Dreams: your vision board
Set future goals and dreams: give each one a picture, an area of life (health, career, travel…), a date it comes true by, and a few words on why it matters. Mark it “It came true” when it does. Turn on Dreams & vision board in Settings.
    Law of attraction
Turn on Law of attraction in Settings for a daily practice: an affirmation of the day on My day (with 7 to start from, or write your own), a gratitude journal with a streak, and Visualize, a calm full-screen session with your dreams and affirmations while you breathe. Choose how long it lasts, how many gratitude lines you want, a daily reminder and your intention, all from Settings.
  15. 0.9.0
    WebAndroidLinuxWindows

Stay signed in, sync after sleep, and project keys you can change

    New

    Change a project’s key
Owners and admins of a team project can change its key after creating it: click the key next to the project name (or project menu → Change key…; on Android, project settings). Issues follow the new key, so FLOW-12 becomes APP-12.
    New project in a workspace
Each workspace in the sidebar now has a New project item, which opens the new project form with that workspace already chosen.

    Fixed

    • Flow no longer signs you out after quitting it (for example from the dock’s right-click menu on Linux), after waking the computer, or after a while on your phone: only a session that really ended asks you to sign in again
    • Sync got stuck after the laptop slept with Flow open; it now picks up again as soon as the computer wakes
    • Long project names are shortened with “…” instead of being cut off (hover to see the full name)
  16. 0.8.1
    WebAndroidLinuxWindows

    Forgot password, and sync fixes

    New

    Forgot password
Choose “Forgot password?” on the sign-in screen, enter your email and Flow sends you a 6-digit code. Enter it with a new password and you are signed in; your other devices are signed out for safety. The code expires in 10 minutes.
    New task with every detail
The New task button in the top bar (and in the sidebar) opens the side panel: title, project, assignee, type and status for team projects, due date, repeat, reminder, priority, labels and notes, then Create task or Create & add another. Q still adds a task right in the list.
    Your issues stay yours
A task you add under My issues in a workspace project, or from My day, is assigned to you, so it stays in your list instead of disappearing into the board.
    Release notes in Settings
Android has an About Flow section at the top of Settings with your version, What’s new for every release and Check for updates. What’s new is also in the menu.

    Fixed

    • A sync error after choosing “My order”, and settings such as templates, focus length and “Daily goals on My day” that didn’t save to your account: every setting now syncs, and a setting problem no longer stops tasks from syncing
    • Android: the Duplicate button in the task details was cut off on narrow phones
    • The sign-in page shows the current app
  17. 0.8.0
    WebAndroidLinuxWindows

Your own task order, profile photos and custom issue types

    New

    Arrange tasks your way
Every list can be sorted by priority (as before) or in your own order. Pick "My order" from the sort menu above a list, then drag tasks to rearrange them (long-press and drag on Android). The order is saved and follows you to every device.
    Profile photo
Add a photo in Settings → Profile. It appears in the sidebar and next to your name for everyone in your workspaces: on assignees, comments and members.
    Custom issue types
Team projects can add their own types next to Task, Story, Bug and Epic, like "Design review" or "Research". Owners and admins add them from the project menu → Issue types, or the Types button on the board.
    Notifications read everywhere
Read a notification on one device and it is marked read on all of them: the bell count updates in open apps and Android clears the notification from your phone.
    The web app works offline
Flow in the browser keeps a copy of your account, so it opens and works without a connection. Changes made offline are kept on the device and sent as soon as you are back online; the chip in the header shows what is waiting.
    What’s new and updates
After an update Flow shows what changed. When a newer version is out, the apps offer it: the web app reloads, Android and Windows download the new version, Linux points to the Snap Store or the download page.
    My issues from the board
Boards have a My issues tab, so you can switch between the board and the issues assigned to you in both directions.
    A clearer dark theme
Dark mode now uses a calm blue-grey palette: cards and menus stand out from the page, borders are visible and text is easier to read.

    Fixed

    • Android: the “Task completed · Undo” bar sometimes stayed on screen; it now always goes away after a few seconds
    • Linux and Windows: the minimise, maximise and close buttons were hidden behind an open task panel
    • Linux and Windows: a new project created from Boards in a workspace didn’t appear and the “create project” screen stayed
    • The selected issue type was hard to see in both light and dark theme
    • Flow could be unreachable at busy moments (“Load failed” when changing a task); the server now limits its database connections and recovers by itself
  18. 0.7.0
    WebLinuxWindows

Workspaces for everyone and a better reminder picker

    New

    Create a workspace
From the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar: name it and invite people by email. Your workspaces appear in the sidebar with Invite people and Members & settings.
Share a project with a team
Share with a team on any personal project moves it, with its tasks, into a workspace (an existing one or a new one), where everyone works on the same tasks with issue numbers and a board.
    Pending invites
The workspace page lists people who were invited but haven’t joined yet, and you can cancel an invite.
    Reminder picker
Quick choices (in 1 or 3 hours, this evening, tomorrow morning, before the due date), a calendar and a time field you can type into (“9:30”, “930”, “6pm”) or pick from. Past times can’t be set, and Flow shows exactly when it will remind you.
    Announcements
News and planned maintenance appear in a bar at the top of the website and the app, with a link and a dismiss button.

    Fixed

    • Repeat times and daily goal reminder times use the same time field, so they work the same on Linux, Windows and the web
  19. 0.6.0
    WebAndroidLinuxWindows

Weekly review, templates and a focus timer

    New

    Weekly review
What got done this week compared with last week, per day and per project; slipped tasks you can move to tomorrow or Monday in one click; important tasks for next week; and how many daily goals you kept. A card on My day reminds you on Sundays and Mondays (key 8).
    Task templates & checklists
Save any task with its sub-tasks as a template (task details → Template) and add it again from the composer’s Template chip. Comes with Monthly bills, Trip packing, Weekly review and Meeting prep.
    Focus timer
15, 25 or 50 minutes on one task (task menu → Focus on this), with pause, +5 minutes and Done, and a notification when time is up. Nothing is recorded.
    Daily goals widget for Android
Tick goals, count up and see streaks right from the home screen.
  20. 0.5.0
    WebAndroidLinuxWindows

Pick-lists in the composer and a support page

    New

    Composer pickers
The project, date, priority and label chips under a new task open pick-lists. Typing “#Project @label p1 tomorrow” still works too.
    Daily goals on My day
A setting (on by default) to show your daily goals on My day, synced across devices.
    Support
flow.invicly.com/support to report a bug, ask a question or suggest a feature, with answers to common questions. Help & support is in every app’s settings.

    Fixed

    • Labels show @ everywhere, so a label no longer looks like a project
    • Android: the app icon is no longer cut off by round launcher shapes, and it has a themed icon
    • Linux: the window has rounded corners
  21. 0.4.0
    WebAndroidLinuxWindows

    Daily goals

    New

    Daily goals
Things you do every day, like reading or exercise, with a checkbox on My day. Type them naturally (“Read 20 pages every day at 7am”, “Gym every mon, wed and fri”, “Drink water 8 times a day”). Rest days never break a streak, and Flow can remind you if a goal isn’t done yet.
