Flow's My day: an overdue task, four daily goals with their streaks (Read 20 pages, 18 days), and today's tasks

Capture

Add a task in one line, or pick from the chips

Press Q anywhere and the composer opens right in the list where the task belongs. Type the way you think: Flow picks out the date, priority, project and labels while you type, and shows them as chips. Prefer tapping? Every chip is a picker.

@Project
files it in a project, workspace projects too (by name or key); a new name creates the project
#label
adds a label, as many as you like
!bug · !story · !epic
sets the issue type in a team project
p1 · p2 · p3
sets the priority (red, orange, blue)
tomorrow · fri · dec 31
sets the due date
every mon, wed at 7am
makes it repeat, with a reminder at that time
The task composer with the project picker open: Inbox, Work, Home, Health and Learning, with chips for the date, priority P1 and the label #bills

New: Calendar

Sprints, epics and issues on one calendar

See the month or the week at a glance: sprints and epics as banners across the days they cover, each issue on its due date. Drag an issue to another day, or drag one in from Unscheduled work to give it a date. Each workspace project has its own calendar, and the menu shows them all together.

Month or week
banners for sprints and epics, issues on their days
Drag to plan
move an issue to another day, or drag one in from Unscheduled work
Per project or all
a tab on every workspace project, and one view across all of them
Filter fast
search, and tap a teammate to see only their work
The Calendar: a month with sprint and epic banners, issues on their due days, and the Unscheduled work list beside it

New: Gantt chart

See how the work lines up, and move it with your mouse

Every issue becomes a bar from its start to its due date, in its project’s colour, with your sprints across the top. Epics open to show their issues, with a progress bar for what’s done. Drag a bar to move it, drag its ends to change the dates, or drag across an empty row to plan an issue. Zoom from weeks to quarters.

Drag and resize
move a bar, or drag its start or end, a day at a time
Draw a bar
drag across the days of a task without dates to plan it
Days or months
zoom out to see the whole quarter
Sprints and epics
sprint bars on top; epics with a progress bar and their issues inside
On your phone too
swipe the bars on Android, or drag their ends
The Gantt chart: issues with their status and assignee, sprints across the top, and bars in the project’s colour across October and November

New: Block notes

Write notes the way you think

Headings, lists, to-dos, quotes, code and pictures, all formatted as you type. Press “/” for the block menu, select text for the format bar, or type Markdown like “# ” and “[] ”. Paste or drop a screenshot and it lands right where you are.

/ menu

Blocks on Android

A note with a heading, a to-do list with two items ticked, a quote, a picture and a numbered list

Sprints

Plan sprints with dates, a goal and the details

Create a sprint with its own name and dates, a one-line goal and the details of what it includes. See new, running and completed sprints at a glance. When a sprint ends, anything unfinished goes back to the backlog by itself, ready for the next one.

Any dates
pick the start and end, or 1 to 8 weeks in one tap
Sprint details
the features and work it includes, for everyone to see
New · Running · Completed
switch between them in the backlog
Ends by itself
unfinished issues return to the backlog when the end date passes
The backlog: a running sprint with its goal, details and progress bar, its issues with statuses and points, and the next sprint

Daily goals

Build habits that stick

Daily goals are the things you want to do every day: read 20 pages, exercise, drink 8 glasses of water. Tick them off on My day with one tap, or count them up. Flow keeps the streak and the history for you.

Tick or count
a checkbox for “Meditate”, a counter for “8 glasses of water”
Rest days
weekday-only goals never break a streak at the weekend
Streaks & history
current and best streak, on-time rate, the last 30 days at a glance
Reminders
“Read every day at 7am” reminds you only if it isn’t done yet
Fix a day
forgot to tick yesterday? Tap the day in the week table
The Daily goals page: today 1 of 4 done, 15 perfect days in the last 30, an 18-day streak for reading, a week table and 30 days of history per goal

Plan

See the whole week before it happens

Plan shows the next seven days with a workload bar per day, so an overloaded Thursday stands out before it arrives. Drag a task onto another day to move it, or switch to the month calendar.

Workload per day
bars turn amber when a day has more than your daily goal
Drag to reschedule
drop a task on any day of the week
Month view
a calendar for the longer view
Move overdue
one click moves everything overdue to today
The Plan view: a week strip with a workload bar per day, and today’s tasks with their labels and projects
